01 / About

I work where media, graphics, security, and distributed systems meet.

I’m a Staff Software Engineer at Qube Cinema. My current work focuses on distributed agents, durable workflows, safe updates, recovery, and the observability needed to understand an edge-to-cloud fleet.

Earlier at Qube, I built secure cinema playback systems across Rust, wgpu, GStreamer, encrypted media, native-library bindings, and operational tooling.

I care about software that remains understandable under pressure: clear boundaries, observable behaviour, safe concurrency, and recovery designed before something reaches production.

Current

Staff Software Engineer

Distributed edge-to-cloud systems, platform reliability, and technical ownership across rollout and recovery.

  • Platform

Modernizing a long-lived remote agent in Go with durable queues, cloud command handling, scheduling, and behavior-preserving migration.

  • Recovery

Designing verified self-updates, A/B installations, atomic activation, crash-loop detection, and automatic rollback.

  • Signals

Building end-to-end observability across persistent work and network boundaries with traces, logs, metrics, and real-environment validation.

Earlier at Qube

Software Development Engineer 2 · Technical Specialist

Secure playback, graphics, media infrastructure, and operational tooling for digital cinema.

  • Playback

Led a next-generation Rust platform and wgpu rendering engine for secure, low-latency cinema playback.

  • Media

Built encrypted GStreamer components and safe Rust wrappers around native cinema and cryptographic libraries.

  • Operations

Created tamper-resistant logging, a browser-based log viewer, and remote playback controls for field teams.
